In 2004, SIA launched the Renaissance
Campaign, a five-year plan to revitalize the organization
with aggressive goals in program, membership, fundraising,
and public awareness. It is now on its fourth year
of implementation.
The Renaissance Campaign is all about
the Soroptimist mission. Through the Renaissance Campaign,
Soroptimist is dedicated to raising awareness of women's
issues so that women may lead better lives. It has
provided clubs and members a focus on what we do best.
While encouraging the strong linkage
between regions and Soroptimist International of the
Americas, the Renaissance Campaign has allowed the
Soroptimist International of the Philippines (A Foundation)
Inc. (SIPR) to stamp its own character as a region
of vibrant members with projects that are locally
relevant and international in outlook. SIPR clubs
fully support the goals of the Renaissance Campaign.
